Fabrics and soft furnishings – We, at Rogers Cleaning, specialise in, and have extensive experience in, cleaning all fabrics such as Acrylic, Cotton, Linen, Polyester, Chenille, Faux suede just to name but a few.
Upholstery Cleaning Process – All furniture cleaning is carried out in a similar way to cleaning carpets, although we use various adapted hand tools specific to upholstery cleaning. These hand tools assist in cleaning the furniture thoroughly while, at the same time, not over wetting the items we are working on, as over wetting the fabrics can cause damage. Drying times can vary depending on the fabric to be cleaned. We can discuss this with you during the survey.
Regular Cleaning – To keep your upholstery looking its best and extending the longevity, regular and professional cleaning makes economic sense. Cleaning every 12-18 months is the recommended time scale.
Fabrics on all soft furnishings are more delicate so require regular maintenance. Even with light everyday use, your soft furnishings will build up with some form of soiling, just from our natural body perspiration. Daily contact such as eating, drinking, surfing the internet will all factor in the soil build up and this will breakdown the structure of the fabric making regular cleaning economic sense.
